Memorial Weekend

We had a great weekend hanging out in Boise. On Friday night we cleaned out our garages, which is no small task. Saturday morning I awoke the troops and packed a lunch. We headed out for a drive to Leslie Gulch in Oregon. We spent the day hiking in a beautiful but strange landscape. The kids had a blast climbing on the rocks and exploring the canyons. (Mom had fun climbing too!).

The rest of the weekend was spent doing yard work. Joe has started another project that involves a lot of digging. He is building another wall on the west side of our lot. Monday morning, joe and I went for a run/hike in the foothills. We took the dogs and just about did Simon in. He isn't meant for running in a desert enviroment. He was so happy to be home, napping on the couch.
