Ashley played in the Powderpuff football game during Homecoming week at school. It was the Freshman vs. Sophomores. The freshman played a very good game, however; the sophomores won due to some serious cheating on their part. The refs did a fair amount of "Playing Favorites" because they were bought off by the sophomore team. Oh well, it was a learning experience for the girls and they will know that all of the sportsmanship that we have taught them over the years goes out the door when you are in High School!!!
Megan did some volunteer time at the Humane Society. She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. She thought she would get to spend some time helping out with the animals, but they had her do paperwork. She was a little bummed out.....maybe next time she can spend time with the animals.
Megan is also playing volleyball right now. She is doing quite well this year. Still working on her overhand serve. Her team has only lost one match!!
