Joe headed up into the Boulder Range near Sun Valley to see if lady luck was on his side this year. Bow hunting season is now open and the elk should be running scared!!!
They had a successful weekend, Joe took down a HUGE 6 point bull elk on Saturday Sept.8th. John may have shot one; however, the animal took off up the hill and was never seen again despite endless tracking efforts. The guys are also trying to improve their skills with the video camera so that they may document their hunts with more than just pictures. Personally, I may never understand this passion of his. Each year at this time I am met with the challenge of being a supportive "Hunting Widow". Stay tuned for pictures.
